Home Remedies For Male Yeast Infection
Great Home Remedies For Males Suffering From A Yeast Infection
When people talk about yeast infection, they typically think of women as having to go through them. However, many people do not know that men can get yeast infection too. Male yeast infections are not as common as they are with women, but that does not mean much to a male who gets one and has to suffer through the uncomfortable symptoms that come with it. Males can get them through having intimate relations (skin-to-skin contact) with a female who has an infection, antibiotic use (especially prolonged use), diabetes or when the conditions are simply right for one.
Despite the discomfort that the symptoms can cause, some men may try to ignore the symptoms because they hope they will go away with time or because they are simply embarrassed. However, there is no need to suffer through quietly, as there a good number of home remedies that men can use to treat the symptoms and infections so that they can be at peace again more quickly than not.
Try eating one clove of garlic at least three times per day when an infection strikes. If the taste isn’t appealing, a garlic supplement will work just as well and can be purchased at just about any vitamin store.
Try eating at least 3 cups daily of yogurt. Separately, just as women do, yogurt can also be applied externally to the infected area, too. Let it sit for at least 20 minutes, and do this approximately 2-3 times per day.
Coconut oil –
This can be used to help lessen symptoms. Simply apply the coconut oil to the infected area to help sooth any itching and burning. Just a very light coating will do, and it’s something that can be left on throughout the day so that it can work on symptoms.
